Memory Keepers
After more than five seasons of deliberate, careful gathering at the base of an ancient English Oak near my home, over 10,000 acorn caps were collected to create Memory Keepers.
Beaded together with glass, copper and wire, each acorn cap bears the imprint of my intention, experience, and memory of the day as well as its own origin as protector of the seed. It’s a graceful intertwining of purpose that exemplifies how to live well in this world.
Displayed facing east and west to acknowledge the cadence that marks our days, these ritual vestments are a repository of actions and consequences. When they are worn, the weight is truly felt.
